Chester Bennington of Linkin Park was born 20 March 1976. He came to prominence as the frontman of the band Linkin Park in the early 2000s, gaining many accolades with the release of their debut album “Hybrid Theory”. “Hybrid Theory” went on to be certified Diamond, achieving sales of over 30 million copies worldwide, making it the best-selling album of the decade. Bennington’s accomplishments as frontman of Linkin Park include MTV honors as the sixth greatest band of the music video era and the third best of the new millennium, as well as 75 million in record sales and 2 Grammy Awards. Chester continued his musical career until his suicide at the age of 41 on 20 July 2017. He will always be remembered for his astonishing vocals, honest lyrics and lasting impact on the rock world.
